Privacy Policy

Effective: October 2026. Get Price Engine is a service of Altshuler Family Holdings LLC.

Get Price Engine is in early access. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We collect the minimum data needed to run the Service and we do not sell personal data.

1. What we collect

• Account information: your name, work email address, and company name, provided when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Catalog and SKU data: the SKUs and product information you import or connect (CSV uploads, Shopify or Amazon catalog syncs, pasted URLs), your competitor listing mappings, alert rules, and margin targets.
• Price data: competitor prices our engine observes on publicly available retailer product pages for the SKUs you track. This is public pricing information, not personal data.
• Usage data: how you use the Service, including dashboard activity, alert settings, and API calls, used to operate and improve the product.
• Billing information: payment details are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use it

• To operate the Service: track your SKUs, build your price history, send your alerts, and generate your pricing signals.
• To improve pricing signals across the network: we use aggregated and anonymized price data, stripped of any account or company identifiers, to sharpen trend detection for everyone. Anonymized data cannot be traced back to you or your company.
• To communicate with you: account notices, alert emails, launch updates, and product changes. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; account and billing notices are required while your subscription is active.
• To keep the Service secure and reliable: fraud prevention, abuse detection, and troubleshooting.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
• We do not share your catalog data, margin targets, or identifiable account information with other customers.
• We do not use your data to compete with you as a seller.

4. Sub-processors

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run the Service. They process data only as instructed by us:

• Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
• Resend: transactional and alert email delivery.
• Vercel: website and application hosting.
• Supabase: database and data hosting.

We will update this list if providers change.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and tracked price data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 90 days after closure to allow reactivation. You may request a copy of your personal data or request deletion at any time by emailing hello@getpriceengine.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days. Some records (such as billing receipts) are retained as required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product grows. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
